With the first day of school just around the corner, Killeen ISD is reminding families to complete student registration for the 2026-2027 school year before classes begin on Monday, Aug. 17.
Registering now helps ensure students are ready for the first day of school and allows campuses to prepare class schedules, staffing and other resources. It also ensures families receive important back-to-school information before the school year begins.
Families can complete registration online at www.killeenisd.org/enroll.
Required documents include proof of residency, immunization records, the student's birth certificate and a parent or guardian photo ID. Acceptable proof of residency includes documents tied to a permanent residence, such as a recent utility bill, military housing orders, a homeowner's insurance policy or a mortgage statement.
Families requesting a campus transfer for the 2026-2027 school year should submit that request during the online registration process.
Families who need assistance with registration are encouraged to contact their student's campus directly.
